Your scrolling through your feed and there it is. Staring right back at you almost mocking how much farther she is in her business.
It’s another post from someone you follow regularly having yet another success. WTF… seriously… how is it that “she” is having so much success and I’m not.
It seems like I’ve been trying to make my business pay off forever and I just can’t seem to get traction to actually move my business forward and make some real money.
Let me start by saying that you’re not alone.
A million and a half times a day, someone, somewhere is feeling the exact same way. Comparison is very real, and so is the damage it leaves in it’s wake when we allow it to overtake our hearts desires.
What you don’t see is the years of learning, costly mistakes, blood, sweat and tears that got her to where she is. You are seeing the now but the truth is there is a whole other back story that would probably shock you.
The difference between her and you is that she kept going. Despite everything, she didn’t give up. She continued to learn, grow, shift her focus and get better every day which ultimately lead to her success, the success you’ve become envious of.
It’s the confusing messy journey that becomes the foundation of almost every successful entrepreneur because in the depths of frustration, confusion becomes clarity, fear becomes fuel and procrastination becomes inspired action.
Lie #1. Follow a set of rules or guidelines
Fact: Every entrepreneur has a different road to success that is 100% dictated by what they believe to be true. It is their vibrational equivalent that dictates success.
Lie #2. You have to hustle
Fact: This is only true if that’s what you believe it to be. Otherwise, it can be fun and easy. Again, it comes down to what you believe. You can run a flow business that is entirely dictated by inspired action – doing things not because you have to, but because you are inspired to.
Lie #3. Instant success
Fact: Every successful entrepreneur started out knowing nothing they just kept going.
Don’t give up on your dreams just because someone else is farther along than you. You have just as much as a gift/service to share with the world – the only difference is, you’re getting in your own way. Time to Bust through those self-sabotaging blocks and do what you were put here to do.
